The 360Partners team recently caught up with Director of Client Operations Elizabeth Crinejo. Elizabeth started with us three years ago, and has been kind enough to share a little bit about herself and her background.
What is your background?
I have had a bit of a winding road professionally speaking including being a PR account executive working in the high tech sector, programming for a large consulting firm, cooking professionally, and consulting with businesses to grow and develop their management teams. It has been a truly great experience but I am happy to have finally found a company that fits all my needs, client relationship management, technical data-driven tasks, the opportunity to help the company and its people grow, and great culture. One of the signs that 360Partners is a great fit for me is the number of skills from my past careers I have been able to use here, even the cooking!
What are your responsibilities at 360Partners?
As Director of Client Operations, my primary job is to make sure our clients are happy and getting the results they want. I also work to make sure our employees are happy and have what they need to get the job done, whether that be training, time, or support. We have a great culture here at 360Partners and the management team and I are constantly working to keep it that way.
What’s your favorite thing about working at 360Partners?
I love the people. After working on my own for a number of years, it is a great to be able to come to work every day and interact with a smart, fun community of people. If I can sneak in another favorite I would say it is the variety of clients we work with; it is diverse and always interesting. As someone who is always interested in learning and growing, I love that we have kept our client list diverse versus focusing on one industry or market.
What’s the most challenging aspect of your job?
Getting it all done! I am always seeing new things I want to do or try and there just aren’t enough hours in the day.
Anything big happen this year outside of work?
I had one big thing happen already the year and there is another yet to come. Early this year, I went to Cape Town, South Africa to officiate the wedding of my best friend. It was my second time there and we had an amazing time. Cape Town is a beautiful city with amazing food! The next big thing to come is a river rafting trip through the Grand Canyon with family. Growing up with Argentine parents, who were very much city people (Buenos Aires is one of the largest cities in the world) I didn’t do any real camping growing up so this is going to be a very interesting experience. Luckily, the company will be great (my family), and the tour company has assured me that no past experience is necessary. Though I do have to say that the waiver I signed did list an alarming number of ways I could die on this vacation including but not limited to: being “washed” overboard in the rapid, drowning, falling during a hike leading to injury or death, hypothermia, and illness, shock or death due to poisonous plants, insects or animals… Sounds great!
What makes Austin special?
The food! While it has definitely changed in the 20+ years since I moved here, it has only gotten better. The food has gone from what I used to call ‘granola gourmet’, to actual big-league gourmet but without all the pretense and need to dress up for dinner. You can get a world class meal here in shorts and a t-shirt; that is awesome.
What do you see as major trends in search marketing in 2014?
I think data is the next big thing and Google has it. It will be interesting to see what they do with it advertising wise, and how they use the power of their big data while also respecting and being mindful of the anonymity of the searchers/shoppers. If they aren’t careful, people will eventually start choosing privacy over the conveniences of hyper-targeted advertising. Although, there is an unknown in the younger, and always online generation who may never opt out since they grew up online. Either way the next few years will be very interesting.
