Long ago, in a city not so far away, two 6’5” technologically inclined nerds decided that they wanted to change the world by helping people compare their telecommunication options and save money in the process. It was a huge success, thanks in part to search marketing and lead generation . . .

How did Jim McKinley and Jeff Hoogendam come to create 360Partners? It actually started with another company called SmartPrice.com. Both Jim and Jeff had backgrounds in technology and hated not having an efficient way to compare telecommunication services. So, they created one. SmartPrice.com provided businesses and consumers with a better way of comparing and selecting wireless, local, and long-distance carriers.

The way they provided value to customers and clients was so wildly popular, that Jim and Jeff decided to take it to the next level. They saw an opportunity to help other businesses grow using the same online marketing strategies and lead generation that had helped make SmartPrice.com a success.

In 2005, they launched what would eventually become 360Partners. Jim and Jeff carried with them the values that they had developed at SmartPrice.com. Today, these same philosophies are ingrained in the culture at our 360Partners Austin office:

  • Treat people well and give them opportunities.
